Nice shot,
I like the atmoshperic feel to it.
The only thing I would have done differnt is to crop the bottom off slightly higher to hide the bushes peeking through, keeping the ist to the bottom of the pic.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Brings back memories of camping, staggering out of the tent with the smell of bacon in the air, happy days!!!!!!!!

It certainly wouldn't be the smell of bacon as Sue can't stand that first thing in the morning!
This was shot at Greystoke in the northern lakes, very early one morning. We were away with friend for a few days. They were still in slumberland but we were out and about in that fantastic misty morning.

That is a truly atmospheric shot, well done. I would not change anything you need the forground to set the scean.
Think the bacon thing is just a chance to get out of the cooking it

It's a beautiful scene and its beautiful captured.
But....to be picky, the mist could be a bit lighter in tonal value, so it lifts the overall contrast. And thereby lifting the overall scene, without affecting the rest of the picture.
Martin.
