Nice composition and lighting, but on my monitor the bottom 3rd needs lifting. Is there a lake there?

I agree about the bottom third. What is the bright red thing bottom left?
Otherwise very nice.

Tks for the comments folks - it's the sea in the bottom third - it's difficult to get the light right on both the top and bottom - not into layers or HDR yet!

boosted the lower mid-tones in curves and used a graduated layer mask to leave the top 2/3rds as they are.

I think I'd clone out that bright red thing though. It really grabs my attention, in both versions.
