Is it not the Pentax table tripod.
I personally can't stand dates on photographs. I suppose it's
different with Archeology.

It is indeed the Pentax table top tripod. The databack only provides information on years from 1980 to 1991! On the whole, I doubt I'll turn it on, but occasionally it'll be useful to add some data such as a code for the lens to a sacrificial frame. I have never got in the habit of making notes about which lens, f/stop and shutter speed I used.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

You are not using the four contact flash cover on the front of the LX. Is that deliberate? If not and you go to bed worrying about it each night, then I have a small stash of them for worthy owners.

For an obvious LX enthusiast like you I will pop one in the post. Just PM an address and promise to glue it in firmly in future.

Many thanks indeed Malcolm, PM sent!
I bought my LX second hand in 2005 and it didn't have the caps then. I've since picked up quite a few LX bits and pieces including most of the different viewfinders (only the FA-2 and FD-2 to get now). Although I make sure I rotate the use of my film cameras the LX is definitely my "go to" camera.
Best wishes, Kris.

Have you got the 4P Synch Cord A that plugged into the ugly hole in the front of your LX? Probably not a lot of use without the complementary 400T flash.

Yes, I bought one from Gartmore a while back. I can use it with my AF280T when it is mounted on my hot shoe grip. Makes it look like the 400T but without quite the oomph. I also have a 4P Synch Cord B so that I can use one of my other cameras with the grip and the AF280T.It's in the post. I've got three viewfinders but not the ones you are looking for.
