And finally, I'm not sure this one works, employed a little Neil (McGregNi), style "Dutch tilt" (:twisted to remove most of the old fence in the foreground and a 16x9 crop to remove a group of Pensioners in the top of the frame, who had sort of just stopped!
Wasted a lot of depth of field doing it so from that aspect it's "neither nowt nor summat!" The bridge either needs to be in focus or more out of it, what do you guys think?

I'd love to see no.1 with some early morning/evening. low sun on those hills
same goes for the tree, with some lovely dark storm clouds behind it

Have shots like that Michael but as I have to go on the bus to the Lakes I can't quite make it there for sunrise not for another month or two anyway...

I like all of these even though I can't get my head
round the last one.... the bridge looks really tiny.

Seriously diminishing the bridge was part of what I wanted to achieve as well as getting action corner to diagonal corner and losing the crowd in the top of the frame...
