I think that this sums up the feeling on Saturday morning

These were nice vamps

This was abit menacing for the kids

I like the last two. The last one looks like something from Dr Who! However, the first and last pics look a bit plasticky, and not quite in focus. Perhaps too much noise reduction?

Having looked at them again and compared with the original I think my experiment with the processing on 1 and 3 has not quite worked. That, think, is the point of posting - to get a fresh pair of eyes on the photo

I am not sure how these people walk around all day dressed up like the guy in the last photo! It must be uncomfortable.

I can't criticise the photos because I'm not very good myself but I can say why I enjoyed looking at them.

1. Looks like an extra from Peter Pan, was the dog to feed the crocodile

2. Extras from Hammer Horror.

3. Looks like he was in the process of being assimilated by the Borg

and part of the joy is trying to work out what they are thinking.

So they made me smile and gave some pleasure, and to me that's what it's all about.

Glad you enjoyed them Stan. I think that is what photographs of this type are about - sharing a moment in time and conveying a feeling.

I thought the pirate looked like he had landed in the wrong time space and someone had gven him an inquisitive Airedale terrier instead of a sea dog

I almost missed these Dave I dont usually have time to browse beyond the first page of "recent posts" and its been a few days since I was on.

Second shot is my fave though I'd be tempted to clone out that bright light on the right, guy in the last shot looks a bit of a charatcter, I can just imagine him walking around some wargaming event, there are parts of his costume that are based on some of Games Workshops stuff, so the kids would have loved it I'm doing a games show with a fellow trader next month, I wonder if this chap would come along as a publicity stunt
My Names Alan, and I'm a lensaholic.
