Read his obituary in "The Times" yesterday. One of Fleet Street's great photographers no longer with us. Yoy know some of his photos, Vinny Jones having hold of Paul Gascoigne's anatomy, Dave Mackay holding Billy Bremner by the shirt front in a threatening manner.

He did not like digital photography, "it is too easy". True.

Yup his last job was driving new cars of the ferries at immingham for minimum wage.... Truly sad

The Vinny Jones/Paul Gascoigne photo was one of the funniest sports shots I've ever seen. One of those "I would love to capture something like that" shot.

Sad news ... So Is Monty Fresco his uncle still alive" Photos are my life " {or something like that } I've got it or had it somewhere ..... good book and a great photographer ...jeff..
