Monthly competition rules????

I have just been looking at the photos for this months monthly competition. Looking at the "exif data", not one of them was taken this month.

Have I missed something? Have the rules changed?

I don't know what you're looking at, but there is only one entry so far in the Monthly and that was taken 3rd August 2014, which is within the month.

The rules have not changed.

Are you looking at the Weekly?
