Monthly competition # 19 Bits 'n Pieces

The topic for January 2014 is Bits 'n Pieces. I'm looking for photos of bits of things rather than the whole item - sort of abstracts but not in a 'guess what it is sort of way.' This isn't a puzzle competition but one to see who can come up with the most artistic compositions with selective views of .... well anything that takes your fancy. For instance if you are into cars or planes I don't want to see the whole car or plane but a very selective angle focussing on the shapes, curves lines and colour. I'm hoping this will appeal to a wide range of photographic interests such as architecture, engineering structures, transport, landscapes etc. Entries must be taken during the month of January 2014 on Pentax, Ricoh or the cameras made for Samsung by Pentax.
