Monopods?

I've already got a couple - an old and heavy Manfroto, and a newer and much lighter multipart Trekpod.

Unfortunately I'm realising that neither is really suited to what I want - which is a decent collapsible lightweight monopod with a decent quick release head and a handle and foot which means it can be used as a walking aid (no, not yet at the stage where I need a walking stick!) when travelling.

So, suggestions would be welcome so that I can put out some ideas for Xmas presents (for me!!)

Check out what 7DayShop have.
They had several lightweight ones when I got mine, including one designed as a dual purpose MonoPod/walking stick.

Good hunting
