Lovely work. The first one especially. Quite dreamy if you see what I mean. Looking up the history of this building - changes are coming it appears.

Agreed ! This is another type of shot that I consistently fail at, there is a fine line between flat, dull images (I'm good at those) and low contrast with good tonal range. Apart from your "eye" I suspect this is where the choice of camera makes a real difference - that Mono sensor is so much better than colour converted images.

The mill complex is in desperate need of some investment but over the past decade or so the competing interested parties (by these I mean the various heritage and preservation groups) have managed to torpedo most developments. The Mill is now a sad wreck of a building which is fast becoming an eyesore. On the positive side though it has proved to be a very successful location for a pair of breeding Peregrine Falcons for the last few years - no doubt the proposed developments will disturb them

The K-3iii Monochrome is a superb tool - its capabilities I have barely scratched the surface of ( but that is probably true of most of my cameras! )
