Sorry if I've missed it when I've skimmed through this thread, but what is the original poster's budget?

Hi Pink
As Richard writes, the HP LP2475W is supposed to be a good monitor for the price. The Dell U2410 is also good and can be had for about the same price. Yes, Dell do have a history of using top spec IPS panels when a new model is released, gaining great reviews and then quietly replacing the panel for something cheaper during the rest of the manufacture.
Whatever screen you get, allow enough in your budget for some decent screen calibration kit - you'll need it what ever monitor you buy (unless you get a real high-end model which is supplied with calibration kit).
If your budget will stretch, consider Eizo, NEC or LaCie monitors. On principle I won't touch NEC. You will need very deep pockets. And if you have around £2k go for an HP DreamColor...

I am after a 24" monitor
James
The HP LP2475W is really one of the best reasonably priced 24" H-IPS screens, some of the Dell screens are IPS, but they have been known to mix panels for the same version of monitor.
