I wouldn't mind one of the motor KX bodies with winder and the bulk film back, although all of those parts seem ludicrously rare. I narrowly missed one of the motor drives a month or two ago which was the only one I can recall having seen.

Aye, being a multi system user, I keep forgetting the strictly Pentax only approach.

Best regards

Thanks for posting the link Gary, interesting to see what people will pay for collectable cameras. Given these were the 3rd and 4th most expensive cameras in that sale, I wonder what the two Leicas were?

Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

The K series motordrives do seem to be rare beasts which isn't helped by having to find the KX (motor) or KM (motor) bodies to mount them on. I haven't yet managed to find a nice K2, let alone a K2DMD.

This is general chat so I can't see the problem .
Not sure I'd spend that on a camera . Think of all the other things you could do with the money, even if money was no object.
The cameras will never be used as cameras so they are either headed for a museum (unlikely) or are just expensive gewgaws. I don't even find them attractive gewgaws.
