Nicely done. I'd remove the 'frame' effect to make the body more obvious.

Nice one Don. I also think the frame is a little heavy, especially around the body and the martini glasses. Her hat looks quite fuzzy! And the cushion is a bit bright. The model is great, love the gun but don't think it should overlap the red 'r'. Fab clothes too, especially the boots. A great scene!

three items I feel help to know...

I did not get the specs on exact dimensions this wiill be published at yet so there will likely be more black border added to the outside edges rather than cropping of the image area....

yes there was some motion blur, it was a three second exposure.

one of my models had to cancel to re-write a school exam, so I photoshopped myself in there...

so shot at noon submitted to publisher by three....

I like it, but I think a bit more of your dead body in the frame would improve it....and there's some strange pixellated smears in the red background to the right of her hat and below the picture frame that look a bit messy. Also a bit of what looks like flare from a light behind her right arm?

Cool shot though!

good points thanx.
There is a Faux movie poster being made from this image the aspect ratio is taller and so has more of the dead guy in it.....

this one is more for a smaller magazine ad. so no blood..
ps I thought anchoring the lettering from the r in killer to the gun was cool. anybody else notice the brightest area in the image is the gun, and the r appears to be an inverted mirror shape to the gun?

I would have moved the title to the left to keep it all in the dark area, then smoke could have been added to the gun.

yeah one of the regulars here had some smoke images that resembled a female form, I may have to buy some incense and shoot some smoke and try that idea out for the poster....
