Afternoon,

Can anyone tell me if there is a mobile version of this forum for use with an Android device?

Thanks

More Windows phones being sold than iPhones in most parts of the world, and plenty of new models out there. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. Windows 8 that is of course.

I only got a smart phone because my 12 year old dumb phone finally gave up the ghost. I bought a phone then looked for a provider, rather than being tied to a provider with the promise of a cheap phone. I refuse to have an Android phone, didn't like iPhones, but did like the Nokia I now have.
The first colourful smart phone too, and with built in wireless charging.

I think something like Tapatalk would be worth investigating. It works well for iOS and Android (not sure about Windws) and is very widely used.

Tapatalk is available for Windows, but I would really prefer to be able to go to my browser and read this forum on it in mobile form.

Other forums manage to make very nice mobile versions, which work really well. Even forums using non standard software manage to make nice mobile sites.

why don't we have an adaptive site that would work for pc's, tablets and phones? Its the way many websites are going. You don't need a mobile site then Individual Apps can be very costly and restrictive.

I prefer to go the opposite way, I like to have the full site on any device I'm using. Tapatalk is good for folk with very small screens but it's not free, the forum using it has to pay a royalty and of course it's only meant for forums not complete websites.
