Mobile Flash System?

Just found this one on feeBay:

But it looks like that I need an adapter cable for the 45 CT-1 for each as non of the receivers have PC connections.
Will have a look on the German feeBay site as well as they tend to be usually much cheaper in photographic equipment then here in the UK and I may just find a German seller that will accept PayPal as long as I pay the charges.
(Funny that feeBay says in the UK you need to accept PayPal but in Germany they are quite happy for you to ask for bank transfer and no PayPal needed)

Anyone got a used but working one for sale?

I guess I run out of luck here as I can not find a cable that can connect in any way to the 45 CT-1. I looked for a 3 way PC cable to the 45 and nothing. I looked for adapter cables, nothing.
The problem is that I can not see what connectors I need on the 45 CT-1 to find a workaround for this but spending £25.00 just to find out that it is not working is not an option either.

It will fit in the trigger but not sure if it will fit in the flash.

I would a Female to Female PC connector (adaptor) to make it fit, and I never seen any.
The other way would be if the Cable would have a Female PC to 3.5mm.
I am sure that there must be a workaround to this.
Have you ever typed in PC Female connector to 3.5 in to feeBay in any combination?

Maybe you could strip the PC connector off from the flash and make them into 3.5mm jacket?

I am just reading something about that on flickr but it seem not to work. Apparently Metz had various connection sync cables and one its the one I am after it is just finding it as they are no longer produced.

But if that doesn't work why should a connector/converter work?
All the converter does is connect the - to - and the + to the + but then change connections right?

Yes, but then the cable that you had earlier would fit on to the female end.

Oh well one every two weeks, that makes it Christmas till I got them but I just hope that they are the right connector as it is a mini plug and not a 3.5mm

I need to know what connector I need for the receiver as there are some 45 CT-1 cables but the prices are really make me cry! link

ANYONE can help me here? I do not want to spend over £20 only to find that I got the wrong cable again or that there is no way of connecting the 45 CT-1 to the RF-602 C1.

What i mean is simply cut the PC connector off from the cable you've now and then fit on that a 3.5mm jacket.

Errrmmm.....I would have to see if someone could do that for me as I am not that handy with those things and I am sure that I suddenly have two cables from one

Just be thinking if it would be easier to get meters and meters of extension cable and just use something like this :

What would be the delay for the cable and at which length would I get too much lag so that the sync would no longer work? 10m, 15m 20m? more/less? I just be thinking about the wireless one because I can really see the use in it by using at at night on animal path whilst I am stuck away in a hide. Everything else I would just have to put up with cable all over.

Buy anything with the Metz connector on it, even (or especially) if device it is attached to is broken, then put a standard socket on it to match your slave?

Looks like it. Simples! LOL Simple idea but it probably will work. Its worth giving it a shot. I guess I will have to buy one of the remote units to see what the connectors are like as it is never clear from the pictures and if I am not happy I probably still can sell it on and recover some money.
It basically a trial and error thing and I will need one of those units no matter what. Shame there are no second hand ones out there. A new one with one remote trigger and one receiver cost as much as just one receiver so I probably buy one, see how it works and then Buy the set of four if I get it working again.
The reason why I am stuck a bit with the RF-602 is because of its reach that is all.

According to this site the RF-602 can only trigger up to 12v
There is a Mk2 coming out that will go up to 300v

The easiest solution is use a small flashgun on the RF-602 and
a small slave cell on the Metz
