Long weekend, lots of photo ops. What do you think? (there's a couple of sets I'll process later)

The Pied Wagtail ( #6 ) and the Mayfly ( #8 ) are stunning.

The lakescape (#3) might be improved by cropping top and bottom to lose the grey cloud at left.

Thanks guys; 8 was a pure opportunistic shot (I saw it and got the flashes as out his skin was hardening) but the bird in 6 is cheeky. I have one shot of him full frame at 330mm.

1 is lit by two flashes; one top right on the step above, the other from the left on a hotshoe extension cord. The right one is then optically triggered.

#3 is also HDR and I'm wondering quite what to do with it. I might try cropping it (which I usually don't) to fit a wide format.

6 & 8 for me as well - No 7 is also a cracker, perhaps Gareth's suggestions might be worth a try?

That looks like the vegetation from #4 with the sky from #3.

I'll agree that the landscape crops work really nicely.
