Misty landscapes

A couple of shots I've had around for a while, like, but hesitated to post . I really like images from misty conditions, but not sure I've nailed these technically or made the most of the potential. C&C and any advice on how to get the best out of this kind of thing gratefully received !

I'm left wondering what No. 1 might look like with the RHS fence cropped out? It tends to compete for attention IMO. The road itself leads the eye, and I suspect that it would continue to do so even without that fence...
