If it's a T2 mount then remove the Canon mount and replace it with a Pentax one. Either someone here will offer one, or try eBay, or buy new from SRB, the people who make every adapter known to Man.
Which mirror lens is it exactly?

Then it may have the T2 mount. If it has, you have a solution to the problem that will be very low cost. A Pentax K T2 mount is no more than a few pounds cost.

Based on the inherent difficulties of MF mirror lenses and poor IQ of a lot of the 3rd party products. Why not hire a long lens? Depending on your destination state, you can pre-order the lens to be shipped to your destination for the days or weeks that you will use it.
Just a thought.

That's a good option thank you.
I might bin the mirror lens and go for a converter for the Tamron 70 - 300mm f2.8 It's only for shots at the zoo and the discovery cove shamo
Only because when you go to the wild life park you find the tigers are as far away from the viewing area as they can.
I was only going down the route of mirror for Lightness but those coolboxes with wheels should be on sale at wallmark so may buy one of those.

A TC with the Tammy would probably do you justice. Buy a "bean bag" for the tripod mount (if it has one?) for resting against supports in case a tripod is not an option. Also offers very good damping.

I have an old Mirror lens but it was bought for an old ca###n 35mm relabelx
I would like to use it on my Pentax K20D, to take to the USA with me in march.
Has anyone got a adapter for sale.
I'm also after a new/secondhand focus screen (must have the tweezers with it, I'm use to the circle focus screen but split will do.
