Miranda 700CD on *istD

Hi Can any one tell me how to use may miranda 700CD multidedicated flash on my *ist D? I have tried but have had no succsess. http://www.mirandacamera.com/_accessories/_dixons_flashguns/flashguns.htm

Firstly, are you sure the flash trigger voltage of the Miranda is not too high for the camera? If it is it could seriously damage the cameras electrics.
Secondly, what do you mean by no success? No flash or poor exposure?

I am getting no flash but as it could damage it i will leave it for awhile and search for more info.

You'll need to check the trigger voltage with a voltmeter (digital or analogue). Measure between the centre pin and the ground strip, usually inside the mount. If it's 10's of volts you can safely assume it's OK. If it's 100's of volts, don't use it.

What was your result?
I tested the one I have and the voltage was 8.9 reversing momentarily to -130 after discharge.
My AF 360 on the other hand settles around 3V in opposite polarity. Makes me very wary of using the Miranda on my K200!
