I'm not sure you can "do The Lakes" without some form of landscape.

I have to agree that the last one one is a beauty. Worthy of a place on anybody's wall .

Good to see some lakes landscapes that are different to the usual and to be reminded that a lot of our areas of natural beauty used to be industrial landscapes.

As others have remarked, that last one is a beauty. Not only that, you can 'sense' the industrial and social history of the place in the image.

Can this be done without a car? I can get a train to "the Lakes" but having got there?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
