RIP

This story saddens me more than I can easily express and raises so many questions. RIP indeed.

K.

Agreed. I love where I live, but when I read things like this I feel nothing but shame. "The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing".

RIP

How many more times will we hear, agencies and authorities had failed?

Before i was made redundant I worked in children's services for a local authority my experience was people young and old are often failed by the very agencies put in place to support and help them.

When i read articles like this it no longer shocks or surprises me, sadly we have become a target driven nation where care and compassion seem to have vanished. Without getting on my high horse about the various cuts to public services, one thing is certain, the very estates and environments where such horrific crimes take place will grow in number.

When such communities are plunged into poverty and despair is it any wonder when a minority of its people act like mad animals?

Just another day in the good old UK Lessons will no doubt be learned, until the next time

Yet another example of the sick society we live in today I'm afraid

Had heard about this on the news briefly but not probed deeper into the story until now.

Dear god... I feel sick
