Microsoft ICE

Downloaded the above the other day and went to load some photos in to it and found that it does not accept JPEGs. Does anybody know how to make it either accept JPEGs or change JPEGs into the format it requires?

What formats will it accept? Perhaps just "Save As" into whatever format is asked for.

Is ICE a variation on the ICE we have in scanners to reduce dust and scratches?

ICE does accept jpegs. I've used it before with this file format, although I don't have it installed on my current PC and can't remember if I did anything particular to make it accept them.

John, instead of selecting 'Open' from the file menu, select 'New'. You will then be prompted to select your source images.




Alternatively just drag and drop images into the pane.

'Open' only allows you to open finished panorama projects you have saved.

It's a panorama editor.

ICE does accept jpegs. I always just use drag & drop to load the files into it.
