Join back in January to take advantage of the repair discount offered when sending cameras away for repair etc to JPSS.

As the repair was taking along time (my *ist DL had to be sent to France for repair) I brought a K200D ex-display model from eBay. On checking the how many times the shutter had be used. Took a photo in the house uploaded it to the site talked about in the 'Pentax Form' to my supprise it came back with just over 500. Where my *ist DL reads over 7000. Cost of the K200D, £150, to repair my *ist DL £200.

I now have two cameras, my repaired *ist DL and my ex-display K200D.

My first Pentax was a 2nd hand Me, film camera back in the 80's.

Have kept to the Pentax because of the way the lens will all ways work with the latest Pentax, & why when you need a new camera body should you also have to change all your old trusted lens in your kit that you have built up over the years.

Hi Mick, welocme to the forum.
I have a K200D too, bought it as a back up to my Kr but absolutely love it and it gets at least its fair share of use.
