Messages - a major improvement

The behind the scenes work continues steadily with the latest improvement (IMO) being the change to messages.

Previously an interchange of messages with another forum member would result in a string of individual sent and received messages, and if there was some information in one of these that you wanted to go back to you would have to step through the individual messages until you found it. Now if a message is sent and replied to, each part of the interchange is shown within a single multi-part message - each part detailing the date, time and text from each party.

Thanks to the team for the the continued improvements to the site. It is appreciated

Thanks John for the positive feedback, it's something I've been working on over the last couple of weeks. The biggest challenge was to introduce the new linear/grouped system but also retain backward compatibility with historic messages in single form too.

Anyway to cut a long story short, new messages start the chain and any replies to that message are grouped, just makes for easier reading of what's previously been sent.

If anyone comes across any bugs, please let me know via the reports system.

Cheers,

Rick
