Member Status

I might be being a bit thick here, but as a relatively new member, could someone advise how the member status gets updated? When I first joined I was a 'New Member', but now I notice my status has changed to 'Member'. There are a lot of people who have been members longer than me who still have the status of 'New Member' and I am a bit confused about this. Clarification would be appreciated.

Hi,

I found recently I'd become a 'Pentax Master' because I'd posted 100 times on the forums. Just a bit of fun I understand from the old 'Pros'

The status is a result therefore of having fun and taking part!

Thanks to you both, I now understand. This means then that I can become a 'Master' simply by spouting off with my not necessarily valid opinions!! Perhaps I should aim to post 1,000 times and then I may become a Jedi Master rather than just a Master.

Why they always gotta make you choose? I prefer to take turns being good and evil on a daily ( somtimes hourely) basis...
