Meet Britain Comp

Has anyone else entered the Pentax Meet Britain Comp. Having carefully selected my entries I find that first you really need to sign up to Facebooks bombardment of you with emails (I deregisterd when it reached six per day) The website did give an email address (which I see is now withdrawn) but my entries were declared undeliverable because the domain name does not exist! Is this a taste of what we can expect from Ricoh?

No idea what the arrangements for this were. Was it a competition in conjunction with Facebook?

The competition is done via facebook app. It's well worth having a facebook account, even if you rarely use it. You can either turn email notifications off, or just register with an email account you never use.

The alternative email address for entries is [email protected], which is still given on the competition page. Is it still not working?

My submissions are still being sent back!

I would bite the bullet and set up a facebook account, just disable all the notifications (you ought to check it from time to time though or you won't know if you've won!)

I'd rather just pass than sign on to faceache...

I think we can now put this to bed. I think we have demonstrated what a useful tool this Forum is. I hope, too, that Pentax will reflect on it as it was not a great sign of good management. I will try to email one more time.
