Shot in RAW and converted to JPG with C1LE (I took onboard Matts point about spending lots on lenses and compromising with free software). I think I followed most of the points made elsewhere about choosing appropriate colour profiles.
Since when is C1LE free software? It is listed for 99 euro's...Shot in RAW and converted to JPG with C1LE (I took onboard Matts point about spending lots on lenses and compromising with free software). I think I followed most of the points made elsewhere about choosing appropriate colour profiles.

GD, I think he meant that he was using free software.
Ammonyte,
I found a neat way of adding a copyright/watermark to my images in Photoshop CS2.
Create a new image with your copyright info on a transparent background and save it as a brush pattern. You can then simply drop your copyright anywhere on the page. If you keep it in a layer and you then sell a copy you can switch off the watermark layer for printing. You can also change its size and colouring to suit the image.
You could also have a look at this.
BTW: What is Paul Jones on? He doesn't look any different from his days with Manfred Mann. Chris Farlowe on the other hand . . . must've had a tough life.

Golf, yes I migrated to C1LE from the freebie Rawshooter essentials.
Paul Jones is on God. Chris Farlowe is on god-knows-what, but still has a great voice and presense.
iWatermark looks interesting and only $20.00, thanks.

Most of the shots were taken with my Pentax 70-300 mm zoom at ISO400 or 800, without flash as I was trying to get the impression of the stage lighting. Mostly used AWB, though once the sun had gone and the lighting in the tent was purely from the stage lights I switched to Tungsten.

The copyright overlays were done with the watermark feature under "process multiple files" because it was quick, but they are not really pleasing. Does anyone know of a better (and quick) way?
