Some nice shots there

Stuey... the goose with no name above and on your flickr page
is the Hawaiian or Nene Goose sadly almost extinct
http://www.aloha-hawaii.com/hawaii/nene/
Thanks Algi - I will rename it on flickr - the Hawaiian Goose had been mentioned earlier in the day but clearly I was not listening as I should have been

In my ignorance I forgot to comment on Shaun and Davids photo's - nice shots fellas - I like the moorhens on the branch by Shaun and the reflection of the duck and the duck by David is an real eye catcher - all great though.

I still think Cliff's blowing bubbles would win if it were a competition though

Cheers

What's also great is the fact that on these assignments you meet people you consider to be friends but who you know only by name.
That's one of the reasons I enjoy the Whitby Goths Festival so much and why I enjoyed my trip to the East Lancs Railway last winter when I met CliffP and John for the first time.

The family has gone home, so here as promised, or was that threatened, are some of my images. Not a patch on the others I'm afraid.

Right of reply!!!!!

"Only Howard Jones could photograph me with a tree growing out of my head
Cliff."

I thought it was part of your camouflage. Field craft and all that.

"I'm not sure anyone had control of Howard though." Stuey

I thought I was very well behaved and polite to everybody. Next time (if I'm allowed to come) I'll swear at you properly in Welsh.

Hi Howard

I like your photo's the last one is my favourite

With regard to control it was daft/ tounge in cheek comment more related to the fact we kept wondering were you were at times as you had wandered off looking for photo ops - something I should have done more of - although I think Cliff and Aaron gave you a run for your money in disappearing

You were the perfect gentleman and a credit to Wales If you do swear properley at me in Welsh I may not understand - I think that Saturday proved to me as much as anyone else that my dismal Welsh language skills have deteriorated badly - my other half is going to work on this with me

Cheers

Hi Stu,

Diolch am eich geiriau caredig.

I'm not very good with smilies, it was taken very lightly. I didn't appreciate that I had wandered off so much!! Next time you'll have to put a long lead on me!!

"Perfect gentleman" - you can't mean me surely.

Anyway as I've said before it was very nice meeting everybody.

Cheers,

Howard

PS I hope there is a next time.
