Manual Lenses

Hi

I have a Pentax *ist D and three manual lenses.

Pentax 50 mm 1.4
Pentax 135 mm F?
Sigma 600mm F8

I used to be able to use them on the above DSLR Pentax but now when I press the shutter release button nothing happens. Has anybody any ideas what might be wrong? It works fine with my two Pentax autofocus lenses

Have you got the camera switched to AF on the side rather than manual?

Might sound a daft thing to ask but I have done it myself.

It's probably your aperture ring setting !
