Manual confusion.

When I put a manual lens on my K200d it asks me for the focal length. Once the camera knows this it adjusts the shake reduction to suit.

So when I'm using a 2X converter do I tell the camera the lens length, or the lens length X2
That is, 50mm or (50mmX2)=100mm?

Shake Reduction needs to be set for the focal length, which will be X2. So tell the camera X2.

The camera doesn't know that a converter is being used, and won't do anything about it.

Thanks Pete, it's one of those things that should be obvious, but there again...
