These were my first smoke abstract shots. I think I can improve much more. I detected so much room for improvement while processing and now where to tweak them while shooting.
And the more I am using photoshop the more confident I am becoming but certainly I could do much much better.
That's where all your comments and suggestions come highly regarded.

Yes I used incense sticks for them.
Still getting to grips with the whole concept, spent ages trying to get the exposure right and by the time I got it I was so bleemingly tired , I just snapped as many as I could and then PP them.
But now I got the full idea and I have been thinking of a few tricks to apply next time .
Am looking forward for my next time doing that so that I can experiment some more.

I have no experience of creating images from smoke but from what I have read(little)i know it involves a lot of work like setting up table,camera,generate smoke,may be a back drop and flash, and also the post processing of each images,well worth the hard work

yes Vikram, its a well worth the effort. Also if I had a bit more experience with PP I would be able to come up with some better images by tweaking them , got a whole load of them in my folders taken all yesterday, I can see potential in lots of them its just my PP limitations that got on the way. But as I get more familiarised and experienced with editing I will start giving it a go.
But I think my next batch might bear better results though am looking forward to implementing some cooked ideas that I have been gathering.

I am glad I get thumbs up from all of you who have seen these smoke works.
I am extremely keen on exploring this area as I can lock myself in the shed and rather than waiting for the birds I can entertain myself burning some incenses .
This was my first batch and with the enthusiasm flying high after many hours of trying when I finally nailed the exact setup I so much got involved in smoking and triggering the incenses that I didn't even notice the texture of the background starting to appear in the images due to it sliding off and ruined most of the batch .

But I learnt the lesson and I am planning to go and lock myself again soon and set it up and shoot some more of this.

I have a huge bunch of them that looked so bleemingly promising but they all got ruined due to the background texture and getting light on it too. Its just a lot of trouble cleaning it off, worse still with me still being a disaster with PP

Facinating if you try to see forms in them, with the second last one I got the idea of seeing a woman in it.
