The thing just sat there and let me carry on, when I had finished it just flew away

Have increased the brightness slightly as I thought they were a bit dark.

Great images!!

I think fly's do get tired with their repeated attempts at tryin' to buzz through a window. I wonder if that was what happened here.

Was quite suprised how well the shot came out actually ... I only took it because I was testing a flash gun and didn't have a macro lens to hand.

That is well close. that first shot is excellent. I was just reading new photography monthly with similar photos. Guy was using two flashes mounted close to lens.
