OP, I was only joking about my setup by the way
If you have a 100 in the house then a 35 is a perfect partner. Otherwise the 100 is your best bet. in which case any dedicated macro from 90 to 105 will be fine, but watch out for the f4 which is only half macro 1:2 (or 0.5 x)

Interestingly, I was originally thinking of the 35 ltd for myself before getting the 100

I have both, and together with the 12-24, I could happily settle with those 3 and nothing else

I tried it reversed but the difference was negligible, so I chose the best fit, which probably has more impact on quality, as it keeps everything square.
This lens is well regarded. This one is definitely sharp, but it only has 8 aperture blades and colour and contrast are poor, by camera lens standards, so I'm still on the lookout for others

reversed. The best one is the Nikon 63mm, but they are rare and
expensive.
