Lovely set of images they all set the scene for the area.

I like them all but the Urban Gardener is the stand out for me, the way the lines in the garden lead to the gardener & then leads into the scene is well composed.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

This last image is a good one, it has a good social contrast. Something like this I would prefer to see as a well processed B&W though.

Excellent pics. I could spend a whole day just shooting the "Tea and Biscuits" stall alone

Street People is my favourite.

Nice series - last one is my favourite too, great foreground colours. Hope you found it as fascinating as I did - such a contrast of architecture, casinos/old town/temples and a lighthouse in the middle of a park!! Look forward to seeing more shots

You'd rather spend the whole day eating it
I like the last one and would be curious to know more about it (where is it, etc).

Its a fine set of pictures Tim but my pick is the first one, which could be a side street anywhere in Europe just as much as the Far East, and the last one. The urban gardeners could be peasants working in a paddy field but te city centre backdrop gives the game away.

Thanks folks!

Pauly - I hadn't considered mono due to the green hedge and green shirt, although now you mention it I'll have a tinker

Gareth - it's hardly 'travel and explore' (although I wish it was!) My parents still live in Hong Kong so for last few years we've taken the kids out there in springtime. As you can imagine there's a whole lot of childminding going on, so exploratory jaunts are rather limited!

On the clothing front I think you might be even more surprised. Most people under the age of 60 or so would dress more like the woman in the first photo. It's pretty rare to see people wearing traditional clothing. Check out the clothing in this one (although granted, most people in this are probably tourists from Hong Kong).

Not a great photo, I only took it because it was about 35 degrees C and this girl should have been roasting hot but somehow wasn't even sweating.
