I have acquired an SMC M 300mm f4, well aware that it is not the sharpest lens and has issues with CA. Is in mint condition and was bought more as an addition to my manual lens collection. Tried it out on the istD and quite pleased with the result. Comments more than welcome, especially how to cope with the lens shortcomings.

K1000, Espio 140, ist, istD, K70, K3iii and numerous lenses, just don't tell my wife.

The M series 300mm f4 is the only star lens in that series. You have got a good image from it. It is reputed to be a sharp lens. I have one but have never given it a go on the K1.....next task !

CA will be apparent so stop down to avoid it
