My Nokia 808 goes down to ISO50

These days, phones are only phones because the manufacturers choose to market them as such. They might equally well be considered cameras, pocket computers, audio players, video players, e-book readers, mobile web browsers, etc. etc. For many people using the thing to make a phone call has become a secondary function, even if they do have a SIM card. Personally, I use mine more to listen to music than anything else (ever since my wife nicked my mp3 player... grumble grumble).

Apparently the Canon 1D Mk III goes down to 50 if you turn on the 'extended' ISO settings in the menu.

Both are measured by DX0 to be 73 ISO link
1600 ISO is only 1171 ISO

Can be some confusing info around...it's not necessarily the lowest iso you want to shoot at but the "base" iso..I have a Sony RX100 which can go down to Iso 80 but it's actually ISO 125 which provides the greatest dynamic range

Aren't we the lucky ones at Pentax. Lots of our cameras go down to ISO 80
