Continuing my obsession with the starburst effect from the sun this macro shot was taken at F32 using the Sigma 105macro lens. Processed in CS5 and using the TopazAdjust 4 plugin.

I love this shot Stephen, such an imaginative twist on Macro and so well executed. Great lens the Sigma 105 Macro.

Nicely done, but a bit twee for my taste

Somehow it seems to me that a little more space below would balance the composition better. I realise that you've included the space taken by the starburst in the positioning, but I still reckon it's sitting too close to the bottom of the frame.

Thanks Chris, I did think about extending that space and rotating clockwise to give portrait orientation.
