My Settings>Website Options (top right of your screen) will give you the option of being informed of replies.
The green buttons show you threads that have had replies since you last visited.
No RSS feeds as yet, but that might be an idea for some people that would be useful.

John, thanks I thought I was going dafter than I already am.
so just keep looking at the latest posts or hot topics etc on a regular basis?

Topics with unread posts appear bold when you're logged in. That helps as well.
