I am still looking for a Pentax Speedbag M, in mint condition.

Is there one out there somewhere?
Best regards, John

Sorry, can't help with an actual bag, is it like any of those shown here:

It's the same design as the Speedbag II, shown bottom right in the photograph. The Speedbag M is sized appropriately for the M series cameras.

Could it be the bag mentioned here, if so I can look if I can arrange it for you.

Thank you Gizzerni, it does indeed look like the bag. Unfortunately the one pictured looks a bit battered and does not have the strap, so it would probably not be suitable.

I appreciate the information though.

I'll make enquiries locally at Clive's Cameras. It's the sort of thing he may have.

Not much use, I know, but there is a mint 110 version on eBay now.

The difficulty of finding a mint speed bag is that the strap tended to chaff on the ends of the lid and most of the ones I have seen are missing the insert for the lenses.

In my speedbag (I don't know which version it is) all the foam inserts have rotted and turned to sticky dust... the bag equivalent of the light seal problem. I keep wondering what to do with it, and am thinking I'll have to strip it out entirely and re-line it.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
