Looking for clues

I like it now! It doesn't look great at this very large size in the forum (quite soft, is this a heavy crop close to 100%?), but click through to see the (in Firefox) shrunk version which fits on one page and it looks great! Appears much sharper, and good use of vignette. The tall thin crop isn't my favorite but I don't see how you could do much else here.

Agree with Tim, looks very good in smaller size, just a shame the top and bottom is missing a bit. But nice shot

A difficult subject to photograph and an interesting architectural record shot. Fine building.

Tim - it is close to 100% at that size.
Emma - you're quite right - the crop missed the end bits. I caught them in the original shot, but the dilemma I brought to the forum was more about the stuff at the sides, so I didn't worry about it. Maybe I should have.
Andrew - I think you're being very kind - perhaps, with better post, it may be a record shot, at best.

I've run out of things to try (no photoshop either); should I have just walked away and not taken this shot? There was no vantage point from which to get rid of the windows, it was all so close together. I did like the look of the empty nave(?) however. C&C and ideas appreciated...
