Looking for a D-BH109 AA Battery Holder

Posted 26/08/2012 - 19:38 Link
Hi guys,

Can anyone telllme if the D-BH109 AA Battery Holders you see on ebay are any good for the price as I think £40 for a genuine one is a bit pricey or can you recommend somewhere else to buy one?

Thanks

You should be able to pick a genuine one up for around £30 if you shop around. I have one - never used it, but carry it plus some AA's just in case.

Jim - SRS have it on their site at £29.99. I'm sure if you shop around, you'll find it around the same price range.

I picked up one of the cheap ones, never used it yet, I tried it in the body with no batteries fitted, it went in and came back out no bother.
It is in my bag with fresh batteries just incase I either use all 3 batteries or forget to charge the spares, to be honest it is fairly well made in the end it is just a battery caddy for emergency back up in my case.

I had one from ebay, it only cost a few quid and worked perfectly fine.

Got this D-BH109 from "wu2_stores" on eBay for £9.18 delivered (if a little slowly - from China!):

Tried in the K-R and it works fine - if a little difficult to remove - but not used it yet "in anger". Again, this is for emergency use when travelling, which is what I bought the K-R for because it is noticeably lighter than the K-5, and can, with this adaptor, take AAs.
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)
