Today I went on a 70 odd mile expedition around the Peak District with my K3, a tripod, Sigma 10-20mm, Sigma 28-105mm, an intervalometer, an ND1000 filter, a Polariser.... oh, and a rain sleeve!

Exposures ranged from 15 seconds all the way up to 5 minutes.

In between it slashing it down, all this lot came out...

At the beggining there was nothing....

Which exploded....

Very nice, I like these, the tap on the iron railings and the night shot. Thanks for sharing.

Apart from the waterfalls and the night shot, I don't see the point of hanging about in the rain to take a phtograph at a slow speed when a "normal" exposure would do just as good a shot. Hving said that I like the night shot and the waterfall photos.
No insult intended.

I don't like the waterfall ones because sticky milk isn't my idea of running water. That said, the opening shot is gorgeous with those dramatic clouds not having been overly distorted and the serenity of the first reservoir shot captures the atmosphere very well indeed. Nice to see you got a little bit of sun between soakings.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
