Lonely tree
Excellent stuff. K.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
tree to close to edge of frame for my tstes ... and maybe crop in a little - there's a whole lot of nothing in the shot.
very nice shot all the same as is

I actually like the tree being close to the edge but do tend to agree with Mike about cropping. The only slight issue I have is balance - I like the 'nothing' that's what makes the shot to me. For my taste I think I would shave a couple of inches off the top - nothing more but this is just being picky - it's a great shot.

After this useful comments i think that i'll try to crop a little more

The fact that it is a "whole lot of nothing" is what makes this image IMHO. Cheers, Kris.
It is beautiful, and well worth the effort you made to get there to take it.
Best regards

a fine example of "negative space" where the space is as important as the subject for the whole thing to be complete, also tried something similar but not in this league.

I made this shot in February 2013, the day after a great snow storm in Monte Livata a mountain not so far from Rome (60km)
It was very hard to walk 'cause there were more than 40cm of snow there.
Shot with K30 + 18-55 + Hoya ND400
