Thanks! It's a walk I'm not going to be doing again anytime soon. Footpaths closed, and some really dodgy areas though.

'Nature' photos aren't really my thing, but I love the idea of doing the walk in sections and documenting each part. Bravo!

What a great project to walk the Capital Ring! there's a section near me (Richmond) and for the most part I expect the area is less dodgy. I like the colours in these pics, they look slightly desaturated and greeny but it really suits them I think. Love the train lines, but also the duck on the nest (I am a sucker for ducks!) and the Orangey flowers. Very good stuff indeed

Nice colour treatment and 'air of neglect' in these shots. I like the abstract-ish crispy docks, and those swervy train tracks (which seem to cry out for a mono conversion and some dodge 'n' burn).
[Edit - do you have to post your pics so big though? The forum automatically resizes them but they still take longer to load)...

agree re the pic size - could do with resizing before you throw them up.

Thanks for the kind words. I really recommend doing some of the sections of the capital ring, especially the Richmond ones (Wimbledon to Richmond, then Richmond to Osterley).
Apologies for the huge size of the images! I thought I set the resizer to resize as "1500px longest side" and instead it did "1500px shortest side". I'll do 1000px longest side next time.
