The weather adds so much to these Andrew, it saturates the colours. They are a feast for the eyes, my favourites being 1 and 5.
Number 3 is a bit dark and would benefit from the levels bringing up a bit, and the HDR look in 4 isn't for me, but both of these are fine shots regardless of whether or not I like the processing.
All in all, a very fine set of images.

Very nice set Andrew. I actually like the foreground in No.4...has a look of a painting rather than a photo which i like.
Very beautiful place.

Oddly for me the one I really like its the mono one! It has a beautiful layout with good receding depths, and a full range of tones and plenty of undulating contrast. A lot there for the eye to take in. I'm not so keen on the others ... The reds and yellows look a little over-pushed, considering the conditions, and the structure of the composition on the first two, a triptych effect, is not strong.
But there is a good feeling for the atmosphere and weather conditions, a sense of place. Thanks for showing us this peaceful spot!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I like the last one. The gloomy sky is made for monochrome. The HDR shot might be better converted to disguise some of the dodgy colours.
Best wishes,
Andrew

This is another fine set of autumn pictures and from a beautiful area which doesn't get so much coverage from photographers as do The Lakes, Snowdonia, The Peaks or The Highlands. All are expertly handled but the stand out for me in the close detailed #4. I don't think the HDR is overdone, it seems to be carefully balanced. I just love the detail in the foliage and the dry stone wall. The composition is enhanced by the perfect position of the tree branch curving over the distant hill.
