Local? wildlife

I took this one yesterday. Local country park childrens zoo, lens hard against the wire mesh of the enclosure and hope for the best. Although the mesh, I think, has had a detremental affect on the main subject, it has produced a rather interesting effect for the (out of focus, or bokeh) background.

I think its a very good shot and the mesh doesn't detract from the scene at all. What lens did you use :
Maybe a touch of sharpening will set it off more.

Used the standard 18-55 at 55mm. I like your free sharpening service, thanks. I'm using PS CS for my post processing and never seem to get very favorable results, especially when using the sharpening tool in the RAW importer/convertor thingy. Maybe I just need more practice.
