I never use any PP as, in my opinion it is a cheat (more thanm a darkroom is/was).
The lens I used is the HD Pentax - DFA 1:3.5-5.6028-105mm ED DC WR which I use as my standard lens.

Regarding the lens, although I don't have a K-1 (and don't intend to get one) I do use the D-FA 28-105 on APS-C and its image quality is impressive.
Regarding PP, as the saying goes - to each his own.
But I wonder - do you experiment with the capture settings in the camera? From the EXIF data it would seem that mostly default settings were used for these images. However, the dynamic range might have been better controlled by applying the K-1's D-Range settings, and/or by making use of the in-camera HDR options.
