Looks similar. the other posting by this person last year said an image was soft, this appears to be a troll.

To be honest the crop is a very personal thing (although the shot is "as is", it's not cropped) so everyone will have a different idea on how to do that. As for being soft, click on the actual picture to get a proper look, I find this site does something to pictures from Flickr ... sorry but that ain't soft.

Nice fly shot btw, lighting is a bit harsh for me but great detail in the eye (been there, done that)

Edit: Feel free to post some more macro images ... or anything else for that matter, no need to be shy.

Hmmm, would that be Bassman by any chance ... he uses that kit, not heard from him for a while.

Has that Sigma 500mm, used to post loads of pictures here ... what do you think of my new 250-600mm? .. .. why 2 forum accounts?

Oh, there it is ... hello Gary ... LINKY

Maybe jealousy over your latest lens acquisition?

That would be a shame as he/she has taken some great photos with that 500mm.

Lots of flies and boys pretending to be girls. Reminds me of a bar in Rio that I unwittingly strayed into.
