Little Egret....for Belinda

Dont take anything I say too seriously Belinda, Even I cant get a decent Egret shot, this is the best I've ever managed and its still burned out on its back, and YES it is manipulated to try and hide some of the burning out

Do Egret pics come more 'decent' than that? I'd be more than happy with it.

Thank you Impotentspider for submitting your Egret photograph - something for me to aspire to.

I do not necessarily subscribe to Malo1961's view that if the image is not good enough, then bin it.

I only have one photograph of an Egret and until I can take a better one, I shall keep it.

Also we only learn by submitting photographs and receiving comments back.

I think we ALL do that, even Malo if he's honest Keeping older "not so good" shots does help to improve your work over time. It also gives you an immense feeling of achievement when you compare them.

I sure do. The Street entry is still on my website and in the archive. But...., It won't see another competition.
And as a note to Belinda. Of course you are right, by not binning it. But given my age and large amount of files (20 + years)in my possession, I can afford to bin a lot. And believe me, a lot of them won't ever have a chance to make it to my external hard drive.
