"When creating a new Collection inside of a Collection set, the default option for Location was the parent of the selected collection set and not the selected collection set."
Crikey they've finally fixed that annoyance. It was introduced in LR4. Swift work!

For example you could create a collection set called "Family" ( basically just a folder )Smeggypants wrote:

and inside you could create smart collections for each of your family members by keyword, so every time you keyword one of you pics with family member keywords the pic will appear in one of more of the smart collections

Thanks smeggy. I usually do something similar when I download images to the "main" computer. Make a folder eg Amble then pics from amble go in there, later after browsing I put those I think are ok into my "Possible" folder. The next step is to do the PP and store them in other appropriately named folders eg "Action & Movement" or "Round 1" etc.

I stopped using PS a whilst ago but was excited about the iPad app until I found out I need to buy the subscription package at £8 a month which is disappointing but I will subscribe as I can see the benefit of using the iPad within a Lightroom environment.
